MANSORY for the Audi RSQ8 — the pre-facelift 2020–2023 programme

The RSQ8 sits in an unusual position inside the Mansory SUV catalogue. It shares the MLBevo platform with the Lamborghini Urus and the Bentley Bentayga, which means it uses the same chassis architecture as two other Mansory flagship SUVs, but it draws a completely different buyer. This page walks through that buyer profile, what ships in the pre-facelift kit specifically, why the kit is a separate catalogue from the facelift RSQ8 SKU, and what happens when an RSQ8 owner cross-shops the Urus Venatus kit on the same chassis.

Who actually buys the RSQ8 Mansory kit

The Urus Venatus EVO kit (see the Urus page) and the Bentayga Widebody kit (see the Bentayga Widebody) ship into buyers who use those SUVs as flagship statement vehicles — wide-track, 23"/24" wheels, high visibility. The RSQ8 Mansory kit ships into a different profile. The donor is an RS-badged daily — 600 hp, quicker-than-most-supercars in practice, but specified by a German-brand-loyal buyer who wants daily-driver utility and will not accept the compromises that come with an Urus or a flared Bentayga. The Mansory programme on this page is dimensioned for that buyer: a visually present but usable bodywork upgrade, keeping the RSQ8's factory track width and its factory daily-driver compliance.

The parts list

Material mix is the workshop's standard for this donor class: dry carbon on the vented bonnet and ducktail, PU-RIM composite with carbon trim on the bumpers (with a dry-carbon upgrade available for the front bumper only), twill-weave surfaces on the mirror caps and grille. The front-bumper intake geometry is enlarged relative to OEM to accommodate additional cooling airflow on the 4.0 TFSI biturbo V8 during spirited road use.

  • Front: front bumper with enlarged intakes, front splitter / lip, vented carbon bonnet, redrawn grille insert, carbon accents for the DRL cluster edges.
  • Sides: side skirts with carbon blades, mirror caps (body-coloured or raw carbon), wheel-arch liner trim (optional).
  • Rear: rear apron with integrated diffuser, ducktail spoiler, carbon trim around the quad-tip exhaust cutout, rear reflector surrounds.

What the kit is not: a widebody conversion. RSQ8 owners who want the wide-track stance are cross-sold the Urus Venatus EVO kit on the same MLBevo chassis (see FAQ below) rather than a bonded-flare RSQ8 programme — the workshop's position is that the RSQ8 body geometry does not carry a bonded flare well.

Pre-facelift vs facelift — why this is a separate SKU

The RSQ8 pre-facelift (2020–2023) and the facelift (2024+) share the MLBevo chassis but run different front-bumper apertures, different grille geometry and different DRL cluster shapes. The pre-facelift kit on this page ships with the pre-2024 bumper geometry. Facelift RSQ8 donors are routed to the separate facelift page — the two kits are not interchangeable at the front-bumper and grille-insert SKUs. Rear apron, side skirts and bonnet cross between the two generations with minor trim variations.

Engine — 600 hp 4.0 TFSI stays at factory spec

The Mansory RSQ8 catalogue is a bodywork-only programme. The 4.0 TFSI biturbo V8 stays at the factory 600 hp / 800 Nm on the pre-facelift donor. A stainless sport-exhaust SKU with quad-tip trim is available as a separate line item; it is a common add-on because the factory RSQ8 exhaust note, while competent, is muted relative to the visual intent of the Mansory bodywork. The workshop's tune routing for the 4.0 TFSI is a per-VIN ECU commission rather than a catalogue product — ECU tunes on the RSQ8 are typically avoided by Mansory commissioning customers because the factory active-cylinder-deactivation and the mild-hybrid 48V system interact with tune flashes in ways that change warranty status and service-interval behaviour.

Wheels — 23" forged is the practical spec

The OEM RSQ8 ships on 22" or 23" forged factory wheels. Mansory's programme for the RSQ8 is a 23" forged multi-spoke design matched to the pre-facelift bumper geometry. A 24" wheel is supported but rarely specified on the RSQ8 (unlike on the Urus, where 24" is the default) — the RSQ8 buyer profile tends to favour a taller tyre shoulder for daily-driver ride compliance and specifies the 23". The full forged wheel range lives in the Hodoor forged wheels collection.

The daily-driver map — where RSQ8 orders go

The RSQ8 map is a daily-driver map, not a flagship-SUV showpiece map. That distinction defines the geography.

Germany and the German-speaking Alpine corridor are the largest single geography, because the donor is a German luxury sport SUV that registers into German and Austrian households at a higher rate than any other region. Austria and Switzerland sit on top of the German base as a natural Alpine extension of the daily-use profile. The Mansory RSQ8 commissions in this corridor typically specify the body kit with the 23" wheel and skip the sport exhaust, because the owner is already running the car as a daily on mixed-surface Alpine roads and prefers to keep the factory exhaust character.

California and the US Southwest form the second-largest geography. California's Audi dealer density is the highest in North America, and the RSQ8 sits deep in the Bay Area tech household and Los Angeles entertainment-industry garage. The Mansory commission in California is typically full kit + sport exhaust + 23" wheel, with a strong preference for body-coloured bumpers rather than raw carbon. The US does not have a country-blog on our site; orders ship through the freight routing established for the Cadillac Escalade kit shipments.

Northern Europe — specifically the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway — takes a disproportionate share of the RSQ8 Mansory kit relative to other Mansory programmes. The Scandinavian buyer profile for the RSQ8 is a households-with-children luxury daily, and the Mansory kit reads as an acceptable visual upgrade without the unacceptable-in-region visual weight of a Urus or a Bentayga. Finland is the small tail to the same pattern.

The Gulf geography is present but thinner on RSQ8 than on the platform siblings. UAE buyers in the super-SUV segment typically migrate directly to the Urus Mansory rather than to the RSQ8. The RSQ8 Mansory order book in the Gulf concentrates on secondary household vehicles — a wife's-daily or a second-garage RSQ8 kept alongside a Urus or a Bentayga flagship. Qatar carries a small but recurring share on the same pattern.

Cross-sell — what an RSQ8 owner should consider

The closest sister programmes in our Mansory catalogue are the Lamborghini Urus Venatus EVO kit (same MLBevo chassis, supercar-positioned) and the Bentley Bentayga (2020) bolt-on (same MLBevo chassis, flagship-positioned). RSQ8 owners who run a second Urus typically ship both kits on the same order to a single paint code. Owners who step up from the RSQ8 to the Urus tend to keep the RSQ8 with the Mansory kit as a second daily rather than resell.

Ordering & lead time

Full pre-facelift RSQ8 carbon set: three to four weeks from the workshop. Mansory sport exhaust: three weeks. 23" forged wheel set: four weeks. Email [email protected] or WhatsApp +44 7488 818747 with your VIN, confirmed model-year (2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023), the OEM paint code, and whether you prefer body-coloured or raw-carbon bumpers. Indicate up-front whether the RSQ8 is being paired on the same order with a Urus or Bentayga MLBevo sibling — paired-paint orders route through a single colour-match queue rather than two.

FAQ

Is the kit daily-driver compliant on winter salt roads?
Yes with qualifications. The PU-RIM composite bumpers with carbon trim are fully daily-driver compliant including winter salt exposure. The dry-carbon optional front-bumper upgrade is also winter-compliant but the UV-topcoat sees accelerated weathering under heavy road-salt exposure; Scandinavian and Canadian owners typically specify the PU-RIM composite rather than the dry-carbon upgrade, and apply PPF (paint protection film) to the front lip at install. The mirror caps and bonnet are weather-independent.

Does the kit clear summer tyres and winter tyres on the same wheel?
The 23" Mansory forged wheel accepts both a standard-profile summer tyre (narrow shoulder) and a winter-spec tyre (taller shoulder) without arch interference. Owners who run two tyre sets on the same wheel do so routinely without kit adjustment.

Can I specify a bonded widebody conversion instead of the bolt-on kit?
Not on the RSQ8 catalogue. The workshop's position is that the RSQ8 body geometry does not carry a bonded +40 mm flare cleanly — the arch transition to the rear quarter panel creates a visually-unconvincing flared edge. RSQ8 owners asking for a widebody conversion are cross-sold the Urus Venatus EVO kit on the same MLBevo chassis; the Urus flare geometry was designed for bonded flares and reads correctly.

Does the PPF layer sit above or below the Mansory carbon trim?
PPF is applied to the finished PU-RIM bumper after the kit install. PPF on the dry-carbon bonnet is optional — most owners specify the UV-topcoat as sufficient protection on a garage-kept car, and apply PPF only to the front lip and the front-bumper leading edge.

Will the kit void the Audi factory warranty?
The bodywork kit is bolt-on and does not void the powertrain warranty. The sport exhaust, if fitted, modifies the exhaust downstream of the rear silencer and does not interact with the factory engine mapping — warranty status on the exhaust modification varies by dealer and region. Tune flashes (not part of this catalogue) are a different matter and are handled separately.
